Do you clean windows the traditional way or by pure water?
We only clean external windows by water fed pole, traditional equipment is solely reserve for internal cleans
What is the water fed pole system?
Ordinary tap water is full of sediments and minerals. There is nothing wrong with this; its entirely natural. The amount of impurities vary across the country, here on the Wirral our tap water comes from the River Dee and are fairly low in total dissolved solids (TDS). Itís these impurities that cause spotting and streaking when tap water is left to dry on a surface. For this reason, window cleaners using the water fed pole system use purified water. The water is purified by passing it through a series of filters and resins, using natural processes like reverse osmosis and deionisation to produce water that is so pure the total dissolved solids is zero.
he windows still have to be thoroughly cleaned. To do this, water fed pole window cleaning uses telescopic poles complete with cleaning brushes that can easily access heights of up to 70-feet. The pure water is then pumped up these poles, which allows the window cleaner to scrub and rinse away any dirt. Because the cleaning process has used pure water, the windows can then be left to dry naturally, with a perfect, crystal clear finish.
Why is this system better then the old traditional method?
Water fed pole is not new, it has been around for around 15 years, and is now by far the most widely used method for cleaning external windows. There are numerous benefits for both customers and window cleaners themselves:
Safety & Eco-friendliness First and foremost Ė the water fed pole system eliminates the need for ladders, drastically reducing the risk of injury and damage to property. The only consumables the pure water system uses to clean windows is pure water, which is completely harmless to your property, garden and the environment Ė unlike traditional methods which use harsh chemicals and detergents. . Versatility & Finish The water fed pole system very often allows window cleaners to access windows that were previously inaccessible by ladder, for example Velux windows and roof lights. Unlike most traditional window cleaners, skilled users of the water fed pole system usually clean not just the windows but the frames as well, resulting in a better overall finish
In addition, the beauty of the system is that it doesnít limit window cleaners to just cleaning windows. It can be used to clean virtually anything, from conservatory roofs, fascias, soffits and solar panels to commercial signage and cladding.
